Our first ever camping trip and bonfire session took place on the 16th of October 2021 in Bomani village, Kikambala. The boarders and high school students, with the assistance of the Physical education department, took to task in preparation for the day's events.
On arrival, the students were divided into various groups in which they would participate in competitive challenges and team building activities where the winning team would be crowned champions.
The teams were;
Cheetahs
Jaguars
Lions
Leopards
Tigers
A variety of challenges were in store for the students including:
The Longest Chain
Shoulder to Shoulder challenge
Hula hoop challenge
Sack race
Egg race
Bucket emptying challenge
Treasure Hunt
These events were proceeded by camping and a bonfire session, where the students were able to catch up on the events of the day and socialize. Team Lions were crowned champions.
